DESCRIPTION

12       DEALLOCATE is used to deallocate a previously prepared SQL statement.
13       If you do not explicitly deallocate a prepared statement, it is
14       deallocated when the session ends.

COMPATIBILITY

29       The SQL standard includes a DEALLOCATE statement, but it is only for
