9       [b] tmap( b(a) f, [a] xs, Int limit=0 )

DESCRIPTION

12       Returns  the array created by appliction function f to every element of
13       xs
14        The applications are divided between a number of  threads.   f  should
15       not  modify global state.  The number of threads created can be limited
16       with limit , the default being no limit.
