DESCRIPTION

14       The  gm-backup_database script creates a backup of the database schema,
15       data, and roles which can be used to restore  a  GNUmed  database  from
16       scratch.

18       It  is  a  really  good  idea  to use it in a daily cron/anacron job to
19       ensure that GNUmed patient data are safe against data loss.  The Debian
20       GNU/Linux  packaged  version  of the GNUmed server installs such a cron
21       job by default.
