NAME

6 gnutls_pkcs11_privkey_init - API function
7

SYNOPSIS

9 #include <gnutls/pkcs11.h>
10
11       int gnutls_pkcs11_privkey_init(gnutls_pkcs11_privkey_t * key);
12

ARGUMENTS

14 gnutls_pkcs11_privkey_t * key
15 A pointer to the type to be initialized
16

DESCRIPTION

18 This function will initialize an private key structure. This structure
19 can be used for accessing an underlying PKCS11 object.
20
21 In versions of GnuTLS later than 3.5.11 the object is protected using
22 locks and a single gnutls_pkcs11_privkey_t can be re-used by many
23 threads. However, for performance it is recommended to utilize one
24 object per key per thread.
25

RETURNS

27 On success, GNUTLS_E_SUCCESS (0) is returned, otherwise a negative
28 error value.
