6       gm-restore_database - restoring a GNUmed database

SYNOPSIS

10       gm-restore_database <backup file>

12       <backup file>: a database backup file ("backup-gnumed_vX-*.tar.bz2")

DESCRIPTION

16       The  gm-restore_database script tries to restore a GNUmed database from
17       a backup. It tries to be very conservative. It is intended for interac‐
18       tive use by root and may have to be adjusted to your needs.

KNOWN PROBLEMS

22       Note  that for some reason restoring does not work when the backup file
23       you intend to restore is a link to the actual backup. Use the full path
24       instead.
