NAME

6       xscreensaver-systemd - lock the screen when the machine suspends.

DESCRIPTION

12       The  xscreensaver-systemd  program  is  a  helper  program to integrate
13       xscreensaver with systemd(1).  When run from ~/.xsession or equivalent,
14       this will:

16       1: Lock the screen before the system goes to sleep (using xscreensaver-
17          command -suspend).

19       2: Ensure the XScreenSaver password dialog is shown after the system is
20          resumed (using xscreensaver-command -deactivate).

22       This  is  implemented using inhibitor locks; sd-bus(3) is used for DBUS
23       communication.
