NAME

6       oath_strerror_name - API function
7

SYNOPSIS

9       #include <oath.h>
10
11       const char * oath_strerror_name(int err);
12

ARGUMENTS

14 int err liboath error code
15

DESCRIPTION

17 Convert return code to human readable string representing the error
18 code symbol itself. For example, oath_strerror_name(OATH_OK) returns
19       the string "OATH_OK".
20
21 This string can be used to output a diagnostic message to the user.
22
23 This function is one of few in the library that can be used without a
24       successful call to oath_init().
25

RETURN VALUE

27 Returns a pointer to a statically allocated string containing a string
28 version of the error code err, or NULL if the error code is not known.
29

SINCE

31       1.8.0
