SYNOPSIS

9       tss2_pcrextend [OPTIONS]

DESCRIPTION

12       tss2_pcrextend(1)  - This command extends the data into the PCR listed.
13       The parameter logData is extended into the PCR log.  If the logData  is
14       NULL,  only  the  PCR extend takes place.  All PCRs currently active in
15       the TPM are extended.

OPTIONS

18       These are the available options:

20       · -x, --pcr INTEGER:

22       The PCR to extend.

24       · -i, --data FILENAME or - (for stdin):

26         The event data to be extended.

28       · -l, --logData FILENAME or - (for stdin):

30         Contains a JSON representation of data to be  written  to  the  PCR’s
31         event log.  Optional parameter.

COMMON OPTIONS

34       This  collection of options are common to all tss2 programs and provide
35       information that many users may expect.

37       · -h, --help [man|no-man]: Display the tools manpage.  By  default,  it
38         attempts  to  invoke  the  manpager for the tool, however, on failure
39         will output a short tool summary.  This is the same behavior  if  the
40         “man”  option argument is specified, however if explicit “man” is re‐
41         quested, the tool will provide errors from man  on  stderr.   If  the
42         “no-man”  option  if  specified, or the manpager fails, the short op‐
43         tions will be output to stdout.

45         To successfully use the manpages feature requires the manpages to  be
46         installed or on MANPATH, See man(1) for more details.

48       · -v,  --version:  Display version information for this tool, supported
49         tctis and exit.
