NAME

6       wcscat - concatenate two wide-character strings
7

LIBRARY

9 Standard C library (libc, -lc)
10

SYNOPSIS

12       #include <wchar.h>
13
14       wchar_t *wcscat(wchar_t *restrict dest, const wchar_t *restrict src);
15

DESCRIPTION

17 The wcscat() function is the wide-character equivalent of the strcat(3)
18 function. It copies the wide-character string pointed to by src, in‐
19 cluding the terminating null wide character (L'\0'), to the end of the
20 wide-character string pointed to by dest.
21
22 The strings may not overlap.
23
24 The programmer must ensure that there is room for at least wc‐
25 slen(dest)+wcslen(src)+1 wide characters at dest.
26

RETURN VALUE

28       wcscat() returns dest.
