NAME

6 strncat - concatenate a string with part of another
7

SYNOPSIS

9 #include <string.h>
10
11       char *strncat(char *restrict s1, const char *restrict s2, size_t n);
12
13

DESCRIPTION

15 The strncat() function shall append not more than n bytes (a null byte
16 and bytes that follow it are not appended) from the array pointed to by
17 s2 to the end of the string pointed to by s1. The initial byte of s2
18 overwrites the null byte at the end of s1. A terminating null byte is
19 always appended to the result. If copying takes place between objects
20 that overlap, the behavior is undefined.
21

RETURN VALUE

23 The strncat() function shall return s1; no return value shall be
24 reserved to indicate an error.
25

ERRORS
