9       forest  [-display host:display.screen] [-foreground color] [-background

DESCRIPTION

15       The forest program draws a fractal forest.

OPTIONS

18       forest accepts the following options:

20       -window Draw on a newly-created window.  This is the default.

22       -root   Draw on the root window.

24       -mono   If on a color display, pretend we're on a monochrome display.

27               Install a private colormap for the window.

29       -visual visual
30               Specify  which  visual  to use.  Legal values are the name of a
31               visual class, or the id number (decimal or hex) of  a  specific
32               visual.

34       -ncolors integer
35               How many colors should be used (if possible).  Default 20.

ENVIRONMENT

39       DISPLAY to get the default host and display number.

41       XENVIRONMENT
42               to  get  the  name of a resource file that overrides the global
43               resources stored in the RESOURCE_MANAGER property.
