NAME

6       ntpstat - show network time synchronisation status

SYNOPSIS

9       ntpstat

DESCRIPTION

12       ntpstat will report the synchronisation state of the NTP daemon running
13       on the local machine.  If the local system is found to be  synchronised
14       to  a  reference  time source, ntpstat will report the approximate time
15       accuracy.

RETURNS

19       ntpstat returns 0 if clock is synchronised.  ntpstat returns 1 if clock
20       is  not  synchronised.   ntpstat returns 2 if clock state is indetermi‐
21       nant, for example if ntpd is not contactable.
