NAME

6 nodesave - Saves NET/ROM routing information
7

SYNOPSIS

9 nodesave [-p path] [-v] [filename]
10

DESCRIPTION

12 Nodesave saves the contents of the /proc filesystem entries for the
13 NET/ROM routing tables. The output of the program is in the form of a
14 Bourne shell script that calls nrparms(8) to recreate the NET/ROM rout‐
15 ing information. If no filename is given on the command line, the pro‐
16 gram writes the script to stdout.
17
18 Typically nodesave would be used when taking a system off-air so that
19 the NET/ROM routing may be quickly restored when the system is brought
20 back on-line.
21

OPTIONS

23 -p path Set the path to the nrparms binary. This only affects the
24 output of the program. Default is /usr/sbin.
25
26 -v Display the version.
27

FILES

29 /proc/net/nr_neigh
30 /proc/net/nr_nodes
31

SEE ALSO
