DESCRIPTION

15       The gettimeofday() function shall obtain the current time, expressed as
16       seconds and microseconds since the Epoch, and store it in  the  timeval
17       structure  pointed  to  by  tp.  The  resolution of the system clock is
18       unspecified.

20       If tzp is not a null pointer, the behavior is unspecified.

23       The gettimeofday() function shall  return  0  and  no  value  shall  be
24       reserved to indicate an error.
