6       intro - introduction to system maintenance and operation commands

DESCRIPTION

9       This section contains information related to system operation and main‐
10       tenance.  It describes commands used to create new file systems, newfs,
11       verify  the  integrity  of  the file systems, fsck, control disk usage,
12       edquota, maintain system backups, dump, and recover  files  when  disks
13       die an untimely death, restore.  The section format should be consulted
14       when formatting disk packs.  Network related services are distinguished
15       as  8C.   The section crash should be consulted in understanding how to
16       interpret system crash dumps.
