9 pdffonts [options] [PDF-file]

12 Pdffonts lists the fonts used in a Portable Document Format (PDF) file
13 along with various information for each font.

15 The following information is listed for each font:

17 name the font name, exactly as given in the PDF file (potentially
18 including a subset prefix)

20 type the font type -- see below for details

22 emb "yes" if the font is embedded in the PDF file

24 sub "yes" if the font is a subset

26 uni "yes" if there is an explicit "ToUnicode" map in the PDF file
27 (the absence of a ToUnicode map doesn't necessarily mean that
28 the text can't be converted to Unicode)

31 the font dictionary object ID (number and generation)
