DESCRIPTION

29       This  function  will  return  a unique ID the depends on the public key
30       parameters. This ID can be used in checking whether a certificate  cor‐
31       responds to the given key.

33       If  the  buffer  provided  is  not long enough to hold the output, then
34       *output_data_size is updated and GNUTLS_E_SHORT_MEMORY_BUFFER  will  be
35       returned.  The output will normally be a SHA-1 hash output, which is 20
36       bytes.

RETURNS

39       On success, GNUTLS_E_SUCCESS is returned, otherwise  a  negative  error
