NAME

6 wcscmp - compare two wide-character strings
7

SYNOPSIS

9 #include <wchar.h>
10
11       int wcscmp(const wchar_t *s1, const wchar_t *s2);
12

DESCRIPTION

14 The wcscmp() function is the wide-character equivalent of the strcmp(3)
15 function. It compares the wide-character string pointed to by s1 and
16 the wide-character string pointed to by s2.
17

RETURN VALUE

19 The wcscmp() function returns zero if the wide-character strings at s1
20 and s2 are equal. It returns an integer greater than zero if at the
21 first differing position i, the corresponding wide-character s1[i] is
22 greater than s2[i]. It returns an integer less than zero if at the
23 first differing position i, the corresponding wide-character s1[i] is
24 less than s2[i].
25

CONFORMING TO

27 C99.
