6       ntp-wait - waits until ntpd is in synchronized state

10       ntp-wait [ -v ] [ -n tries ] [ -s seconds ]

DESCRIPTION

14       The  ntp-wait  program blocks until ntpd is in synchronized state. This
15       can be useful at boot time, to delay  the  boot  sequence  until  after
16       "ntpd -g" has set the time.

COMMAND LINE OPTIONS

20       -n tries
21               Number of tries before giving up. The default is 1000.

24               Seconds to sleep between tries. The default is 6 seconds.
