DESCRIPTION

14       tracker-preferences  is  a  graphical  configuration  front end for the
15       tracker-miner-fs which crawls and mines data from the filesystem to  be
16       stored in the Tracker databases.

18       Importantly,  the  TRACKER_USE_CONFIG_FILES  environment variable which
19       can be used by the tracker-miner-fs and other  binaries  for  switching
20       from GSettings to config files is not supported by tracker-preferences.
21       This means that configuration changes (usually  stored  in  $HOME/.con‐
22       fig/tracker) must be manually updated when not using GSettings.
