NAME

6       arm4_export - export the ARM 4 database in XML format

SYNOPSIS

9       arm4_export --help|-h
10       arm4_export --version|-V
11       arm4_export [--config|-C config_file] [--archive|-a archive_directory]

DESCRIPTION

14       The  arm4_export  program exports the ARM 4 agent database to XML. This
15       can then be used to archive the data or to facilitate  conversion  from
16       one database type to another, or for upgrading agent versions.

18       This  is  functionally  equivalent  to running the command arm4_control
19       export all.

OPTIONS

22       -h, --help
23              display the command line options.

25       -V, --Version
26              display the program version and exit.

28       -C, --Config config_file
29              specifies a configuration file  for  this  instance  instead  of
30              using  the default configuration file. The default configuration
31              file /etc/arm4.conf is used if none is specified.

33       -a, --archive archive_directory
34              read an archive created using the  arm4_control  --archive  com‐
35              mand.
