6       gnome-screensaver-command - controls GNOME screensaver

9       gnome-screensaver-command [OPTION...]

DESCRIPTION

12       gnome-screensaver-command  is a tool for controlling an already running
13       instance of gnome-screensaver.

OPTIONS

16       --exit Causes the screensaver to exit gracefully

18       -q, --query
19              Query the state of the screensaver

21       -t, --time
22              Query the length of time the screensaver has been active

24       -l, --lock
25              Tells the running screensaver process to lock the screen immedi‐
26              ately

28       -c, --cycle
29              If  the  screensaver  is  active then switch to another graphics
30              demo

32       -a, --activate
33              Turn the screensaver on (blank the screen)

35       -d, --deactivate
36              If the screensaver is active then deactivate  it  (un-blank  the

40              Poke the running screensaver to simulate user activity

43              Inhibit  the  screensaver  from activating. Command blocks while
