DESCRIPTION

14       kismet_drone  supports  all  the  capture  sources available to Kismet.
15       Instead of processing packets locally, kismet_drone makes  them  avail‐
16       able  via  TCP  to  a  remote  kismet_server  using the 'drone' capture
17       source.

USAGE

20       kismet_drone should be configured as you would kismet_server.  All log‐
21       ging,  packet  dissection,  etc  will  take  place on the remote kismet
22       server using the 'drone' capture source.

24       kismet_monitor should be used to place capture sources  into  rfmonitor
25       mode as needed, and kismet_hopper should be used for channel hopping.

27       kismet_drone is controlled by the kismet_drone.conf config file.

ENCRYPTION

30       It  may  be  desireable to encrypt the packet stream between the remote
31       drone and the kismet system.  Standard  SSH  packet  tunneling  or  any
32       other tunneling/forwarding system may be used, and is recommended.
