DESCRIPTION

16       Checks whether the specified recording frequency, number of  bits,  and
17       mono/stereo mode are supported (and how) by the current audio driver.

RETURN VALUE

20       The function returns one of the following possible values:

22          0  = It is impossible to record in this format.
23          1  = Recording is possible, but audio output
24               will be suspended.
25          2  = Recording is possible at the same time as
26               playing other sounds (full duplex sound card).
27          -n = Sampling rate not supported, but rate 'n'
28               would work instead.
