6 system-autodeath - Auto-disable default routes on a set date

12 system-autodeath system-autodeath is a cron job that runs daily, check‐
13 ing the current time versus a configured death date for the machine.
14 Within one week of this date the system will emit log notices to sys‐
15 log.alert notifying that the system with autodie on a specific date. On
16 the date the system will have its default route deleted. It will con‐
17 tinue to do this everyday until someone does something about it.

20 To configure the drop dead date modify the date in /etc/sysconfig/sys‐
21 tem-autodeath.conf. The date format can be anything handled by date
22 -d. Normal format is YYYY-MM-DD
