DESCRIPTION

33       This function will set the part of the name of the Certificate  request
34       subject,  specified  by the given OID. The input string should be ASCII
35       or UTF-8 encoded.

37       Some helper macros with popular OIDs can be found in gnutls/x509.h With
38       this  function  you can only set the known OIDs. You can test for known
39       OIDs using gnutls_x509_dn_oid_known(). For OIDs that are not known  (by
40       gnutls)  you  should properly DER encode your data, and call this func‐
41       tion with raw_flag set.

RETURNS

44       On success, GNUTLS_E_SUCCESS is returned, otherwise  a  negative  error
