6       hxprune - remove marked elements from an HTML file

SYNOPSIS

9       hxprune [ -c class ] [ -x ] [ file ]

DESCRIPTION

12       hxprune removes specially marked elements (with their content and chil‐
13       dren) from an HTML file. By default it removes elements  with  a  class
14       attribute  of "exclude". The class attribute is parsed as a whitespace-
15       separated list of words and if one of those  words  is  "exclude",  the
16       element is not copied to the output.

OPTIONS

19       The following options are supported:

21       -c class
22              Specify a different class than "exclude".

24       -x     Force  output to be in XML-style, i.e., without short attributes
25              and with a slash (/) to mark empty elements.
