DESCRIPTION

12       This  tool  may  be  used  to  allow interaction between a client and a
13       server with different addressing schemes. It may be  used  as  a  fire‐
14       walling  solution  with  support of secure connections, session manage‐
15       ment, mutual authentication, etc. It may also be used to  allow  trans‐
16       parent  communication through a NAT gateway or to connect an IP network
17       with a non-IP network through a gateway running  Glacier2.  By  default
18       ZeroC Ice only provides IP transports.
