6       explain_fpathconf_or_die - get file configuration and report errors

DESCRIPTION

13       The  explain_fpathconf_or_die function is used to call the fpathconf(3)
14       system call.  On failure an explanation  will  be  printed  to  stderr,
15       obtained  from explain_fpathconf(3), and then the process terminates by
16       calling exit(EXIT_FAILURE).

18       This function is intended to be used in a fashion similar to  the  fol‐
19       lowing example:
20              long result = explain_fpathconf_or_die(fildes, name);

22       fildes  The  fildes, exactly as to be passed to the fpathconf(3) system
23               call.

25       name    The name, exactly as to be passed to  the  fpathconf(3)  system
26               call.

28       Returns:
29               This  function  only  returns  on success, see fpathconf(3) for
30               more information.  On failure, prints an explanation and exits.
