DESCRIPTION

18       PNAM        (an input constant or variable of type CHARACTER) specifies
19                   the name of the parameter to get. The name must appear as
20                   the first three characters of the string.  Other characters
21                   may be used to document the use of the parameter being
22                   retrieved; for example, instead of just ´CRB´, one can use
23                   ´CRB - CHARACTER REPRESENTING BREAK´.

25       CVAL        (an output variable of type CHARACTER) is the name of the
26                   variable into which the value of the internal parameter
27                   specified by PNAM is to be retrieved.

C-BINDING DESCRIPTION

30       The C-binding argument descriptions are the same as the FORTRAN
31       argument descriptions with the following exception:

33       len         The size of cval as dimensioned in the calling program.

USAGE

36       This routine allows you to retrieve the current value of Dashpack
37       parameters.  For a complete list of parameters available in this
38       utility, see the dashpack_params man page.

ACCESS

41       To use DPGETC or c_dpgetc, load the NCAR Graphics libraries ncarg,
42       ncarg_gks, and ncarg_c, preferably in that order.
