ARGUMENTS

14       void * ptr  memory region to deallocate, or NULL.

DESCRIPTION

17       Deallocates  memory region by calling free().  If ptr is NULL no opera‐
18       tion is performed.

20       This function is necessary on Windows, where  different  parts  of  the
21       same application may use different memory heaps.
