DESCRIPTION

17       x2sys_report will read the input crossover ASCII data base coedbase.txt
18       (or  stdin) and report on the statistics of crossovers (n, mean, stdev,
19       rms, weight) for each track. Options are available to let  you  exclude
20       tracks and limit the output.

REQUIRED ARGUMENTS

23       coedbase.txt
24              The  name  of  the input ASCII crossover error data base as pro‐
25              duced by x2sys_cross.  If  not  given  we  read  standard  input
26              instead.

29              Specify  which  data  column  you  want  to  process. Crossovers
30              related to this column name must be  present  in  the  crossover
31              data base.

33       -TTAG  Specify  the  x2sys TAG which tracks the attributes of this data

OPTIONAL ARGUMENTS

37       -A     Eliminate COEs by distributing the COE between the two tracks in
38              proportion  to  track  weight  and  producing (dist, adjustment)
39              spline knots files for each track  (for  the  selected  column).
40              Such  adjustments  may be used by x2sys_datalist. The adjustment
41              files  are  called  track.column.adj  and  are  placed  in   the
42              $X2SYS_HOME/TAG  directory.  For  background  information on how
43              these adjustments are designed, see Mittal [1984].

46              Name of ASCII file with a list of track names (one  per  record)
47              that should be excluded from consideration [Default includes all
48              tracks].

51              Apply optimal corrections to the chosen observable.  Append  the
52              correction  table  to  use  [Default  uses  the correction table
53              TAG_corrections.txt  which  is  expected  to   reside   in   the
54              $X2SYS_HOME/TAG  directory].  For  the  format of this file, see
55              x2sys_solve.

58              Only report  data  from  tracks  involved  in  at  least  nx_min

65              west, east, south, and north specify the region of interest, and
66              you    may    specify    them   in   decimal   degrees   or   in
67              [±]dd:mm[:ss.xxx][W|E|S|N] format Append +r if  lower  left  and
68              upper  right  map  coordinates are given instead of w/e/s/n. The
69              two shorthands -Rg and -Rd stand for global  domain  (0/360  and
70              -180/+180  in longitude respectively, with -90/+90 in latitude).
71              Alternatively for grid creation, give Rcodelon/lat/nx/ny,  where
72              code  is a 2-character combination of L, C, R (for left, center,
73              or right) and T, M, B for top, middle, or bottom. e.g.,  BL  for
74              lower  left.  This indicates which point on a rectangular region
75              the lon/lat coordinate refers to, and the grid dimensions nx and
76              ny with grid spacings via -I is used to create the corresponding
77              region.  Alternatively, specify the name  of  an  existing  grid
78              file  and  the -R settings (and grid spacing, if applicable) are
79              copied from the grid. Appending +uunit expects projected (Carte‐
80              sian)  coordinates  compatible  with  chosen -J and we inversely
81              project to determine actual rectangular geographic region.   For
82              perspective view (-p), optionally append /zmin/zmax.  In case of
83              perspective view (-p), a z-range (zmin, zmax) can be appended to
84              indicate  the  third  dimension. This needs to be done only when
85              using the -Jz option, not when using only the -p option. In  the
86              latter  case a perspective view of the plane is plotted, with no
87              third    dimension.    For    Cartesian    data    just     give
88              xmin/xmax/ymin/ymax.  This  option bases the statistics on those
89              COE that fall inside the specified domain.

92              Name of a single track. If given we  restrict  output  to  those
93              crossovers  involving  this  track [Default output is crossovers
