16 This function will log a message to the audit system using a predefined
17 message format. This function should be used by all ELF console apps
18 that do not manipulate accounts or groups. If the application is writ‐
19 ten in Python or another interpreter, then use the
20 audit_log_user_comm_message function instead. The function parameters
21 are as follows:

23 audit_fd - The fd returned by audit_open
24 type - type of message, ex: AUDIT_USYS_CONFIG, AUDIT_USER_LOGIN
25 message - the message text being sent
26 hostname - the hostname if known, NULL if unknown
27 addr - The network address of the user, NULL if unknown
28 tty - The tty of the user, if NULL will attempt to figure out
29 result - 1 is "success" and 0 is "failed"
