NAME

6       ncid-initmodem - use ncidd to reinitialize modem to Caller ID mode

SYNOPSIS

9       ncid --no-gui --program ncid-initmodem

DESCRIPTION

12       The ncid-initmodem output module re-initializes the modem obtaining the
13       Caller ID for the server.  It can only be used if  the  modem  supports
14       Caller ID and sends "RING" at each ringing signal.  If the server indi‐
15       cates a non-CID call, ncid-initmodem will cause ncidd to  re-initialize
16       the  modem  for  CID.  Never use this module with a modem that does not
17       support Caller ID.  The module can be used with modems that drop out of
18       Caller ID mode.

21       modem that supports Caller ID

23       The  module  does  not have a configuration file, but it does check for
24       one.
