DESCRIPTION

14       This program is part of Netpbm(1).

16       pnmtorastreads  a  PPM  image as input and produces a Sun rasterfile as
17       output.

19       Color values in Sun rasterfiles are eight bits wide, so pnmtorast  will
20       automatically  scale colors to have a maxval of 255.  An extra pamdepth
21       step is not necessary.

OPTIONS

25       The -standard option forces the result to be in RT_STANDARD  form;  the
26       -rle  option,  RT_BYTE_ENCODED,  which is smaller but, well, less stan‐
27       dard.  The default is -rle.

29       All options can be abbreviated to their shortest unique prefix.
