NAME

6       ABORT - abort the current transaction

SYNOPSIS

9       ABORT [ WORK | TRANSACTION ]

DESCRIPTION

12       ABORT rolls back the current transaction and causes all the updates
13       made by the transaction to be discarded. This command is identical in
14       behavior to the standard SQL command ROLLBACK(7), and is present only
15       for historical reasons.

20           Optional key words. They have no effect.

NOTES

23       Use COMMIT(7) to successfully terminate a transaction.

25       Issuing ABORT outside of a transaction block emits a warning and
26       otherwise has no effect.
