6       pedal - pretty geometric picture program

9       pedal  [-display  host:display.screen] [-foreground color] [-background
10       color] [-window] [-root] [-delay seconds]  [-maxlines  number]  [-mono]

DESCRIPTION

14       The pedal program displays pretty geometric pictures.

OPTIONS

17       pedal accepts the following options:

19       -window Draw on a newly-created window.  This is the default.

21       -root   Draw on the root window.

23       -foreground color
24               The color for the foreground.  Default is white.

26       -background color
27               The color for the background.  Default is black.

29       -delay seconds
30               The number of seconds to pause between each picture.

32       -maxlines number
33               The  maximum  number  of lines in the drawing.  Good values are
34               between 20 and 2000.  Maximum value is 16K.

36       To make your X server grunt under load, and to  impress  your  friends,
37       try pedal -mono -delay 0 -maxlines 100.

39       -fps    Display the current frame rate and CPU load.

ENVIRONMENT

42       DISPLAY to get the default host and display number.

45               to  get  the  name of a resource file that overrides the global
46               resources stored in the RESOURCE_MANAGER property.
