DESCRIPTION

9       Ipsilon  is an Identity Provider (IdP) that implements standard Authen‐
10       tication and Federation protocols like SAML, and integrates with Enter‐
11       prise  Authentication  systems  to  provide  easy to use Single Sign On
12       capabilities to Web Applications and Services.

14       An IdP server allows users to authenticate against any  identity  back‐
15       end,  whether that is a corporate LDAP server or even just local files,
16       and allows applications to authenticate users without having  to  worry
17       about the sort of authentication infrastructure is being used.

19       Ipsilon  supports  applications  to  authenticate  users via either the
20       SAML2, OpenID or OpenID Connect/OAuth2 protocols,  and  more  protocols
21       can be added with plugins.
