6       mate-screensaver-command - controls MATE screensaver

SYNOPSIS

9       mate-screensaver-command [OPTION...]

DESCRIPTION

12       mate-screensaver-command  is  a tool for controlling an already running
13       instance of mate-screensaver.

OPTIONS

16       --exit Causes the screensaver to exit gracefully

18       -q, --query
19              Query the state of the screensaver

21       -t, --time
22              Query the length of time the screensaver has been active

24       -l, --lock
25              Tells the running screensaver process to lock the screen immedi‐
26              ately

28       -u, --unlock
29              Tells the running screensaver process to unlock the screen imme‐
30              diately

32       -c, --cycle
33              If the screensaver is active then  switch  to  another  graphics

36       -a, --activate
37              Turn the screensaver on (blank the screen)
