ARGUMENTS

19       dict - dictionary to add pair to.
20       id - identifier of value
21       new - function to call to create new value (may be NULL)
22       update - function to call to modify value (if NULL, the old
23       value is freed, and <new> is used)
24       rock - context to pass to <new> or <update>.

DESCRIPTION

28       Finds <id>'s value and calls <update>.  If <id> is not in <dict>, calls
