NAME

6       ipmidetectd.conf - ipmidetectd configuration file

DESCRIPTION

9       The ipmidetectd configuration file configures the ipmidetectd daemon.

11       The   default   configuration  file  loaded  is  /etc/freeipmi//ipmide‐
12       tectd.conf.

14       The configuration options that can be specified  in  the  configuration
15       file  are  listed  below. Each configuration option must be listed on a
16       separate line. Arguments for an option are separated by any  amount  of
17       whitespace.  Multiple arguments are also separated by whitespace.  Com‐
18       ments can be marked by using the pound sign ("#") character, and  lines
19       can be continued on the next using backslash ("\").

IPMIDETECTD CONFIGURATION OPTIONS

22       ipmiping_period num
23              Specify  the  period time in milliseconds that IPMI pings should
24              be regularly sent out. Default is 15000.

26       ipmidetectd_server_port port
27              Specify the alternate default port the ipmidetectd server should
28              listen for requests off of. Default is 9225.

30       host string[:port]
31              Specify  a host or IP address the ipmidetectd daemon should send
32              IPMI pings to. Can be specified as many times as  necessary.  An
33              optional port can be specified. Can accept host ranges as input.
34              See HOSTRANGED  SUPPORT  in  ipmidetect(8)  for  information  on
35              ranged  formats. If specifying an IPv6 address and port, use the
36              format [ADDRESS]:PORT.
