NAME

6       pmdapostfix - Postfix performance metrics domain agent (PMDA)

DESCRIPTION

9       pmdapostfix  is a Performance Metrics Domain Agent (PMDA) which exports
10       mail queue sizes as reported by qshape(1), as well as aggregate statis‐
11       tics collected from mail.log.

INSTALLATION

14       If  you want access to the names and values for the Postfix performance
15       metrics, do the following as root:

17           # cd $PCP_PMDAS_DIR/postfix
18           # ./Install

20       To uninstall, the following must be done as root:

22           # cd $PCP_PMDAS_DIR/postfix
23           # ./Remove

25       pmdapostfix is  launched  by  pmcd(1)  and  should  never  be  executed
26       directly.  The Install and Remove scripts notify pmcd(1) when the agent
27       is installed or removed.

PCP ENVIRONMENT

40       Environment variables with the prefix PCP_ are used to parameterize the
41       file  and  directory  names used by PCP. On each installation, the file
42       /etc/pcp.conf contains the  local  values  for  these  variables.   The
43       $PCP_CONF  variable may be used to specify an alternative configuration
44       file, as described in pcp.conf(5).
