SYNOPSIS

9       DROP TEXT SEARCH PARSER [ IF EXISTS ] name [ CASCADE | RESTRICT ]

DESCRIPTION

12       DROP TEXT SEARCH PARSER drops an existing text search parser. You must
13       be a superuser to use this command.

PARAMETERS

16       IF EXISTS
17           Do not throw an error if the text search parser does not exist. A
18           notice is issued in this case.

20       name
21           The name (optionally schema-qualified) of an existing text search
22           parser.

24       CASCADE
25           Automatically drop objects that depend on the text search parser,
26           and in turn all objects that depend on those objects (see
27           Section 5.14).

29       RESTRICT
30           Refuse to drop the text search parser if any objects depend on it.
31           This is the default.

EXAMPLES

34       Remove the text search parser my_parser:

38       This command will not succeed if there are any existing text search
39       configurations that use the parser. Add CASCADE to drop such
40       configurations along with the parser.
