SYNOPSIS

9       postdownload file

DESCRIPTION

12       postdownload is a front-end to the usgs2sdf utility. postdownload takes
13       as an argument the name of the gzipped Digital  Elevation  Model  (DEM)
14       down  loaded from the US Geological Survey (ie: wilmington-w.gz). post‐
15       download uncompresses the DEM file, adds necessary  record  delimiters,
16       and invokes usgs2sdf to produce a SPLAT Data File (SDF).

18       USGS Digital Elevation Models may be downloaded from

20       http://edcftp.cr.usgs.gov/pub/data/DEM/250/
21              Invoke postdownload with the name of each DEM file downloaded to
22              produce a database of SPLAT Data Files.
