DESCRIPTION

16       The flame program generates colorful fractal displays.

OPTIONS

19       flame accepts the following options:

21       --window
22               Draw on a newly-created window.  This is the default.

24       --root  Draw on the root window.

26       --window-id number
27               Draw on the specified window.

29       --mono  If on a color display, pretend we're on a monochrome display.

32               Install a private colormap for the window.

34       --visual visual
35               Specify  which  visual  to use.  Legal values are the name of a
36               visual class, or the id number (decimal or hex) of  a  specific
37               visual.

39       --colors integer
40               How many colors should be used (if possible).  Default 64.

42       --iterations integer
43               How many fractals to generate.  Default 25.

45       --points integer
46               How many pixels to draw for each fractal.  Default 10000.

48       --delay microseconds
49               How  long we should wait between drawing each fractal.  Default
50               50000, or about 1/20th second.

53               How long we should wait before clearing the  screen  when  each
54               run ends.  Default 2000000, or two seconds.

ENVIRONMENT

59       DISPLAY to get the default host and display number.

62               to  get  the  name of a resource file that overrides the global
