DESCRIPTION

15       The  providence  code  displays an eye, shrouded in glory, set upon the
16       base of a pyramid.

OPTIONS

19       providence accepts the following options:

21       --window
22               Draw on a newly-created window.  This is the default.

24       --root  Draw on the root window.

26       --window-id number
27               Draw on the specified window.

29       --install
30               Install a private colormap for the window.

32       --eye   Draw an eye/$.

34       --visual visual
35               Specify which visual to use.  Legal values are the  name  of  a
36               visual  class,  or the id number (decimal or hex) of a specific
37               visual.

39       --wireframe
40               Render in wireframe (with hidden line removal)  instead  of  as
41               textured solids.

43       --fps   Display the current frame rate, CPU load, and polygon count.

ENVIRONMENT

46       DISPLAY to get the default host and display number.
