NAME

6       EVP_MAC-GMAC - The GMAC EVP_MAC implementation

DESCRIPTION

9       Support for computing GMAC MACs through the EVP_MAC API.

11       This implementation uses EVP_CIPHER functions to get access to the

21       The general description of these parameters can be found in

24       The following parameter can be set with EVP_MAC_CTX_set_params():

26       "key" (OSSL_MAC_PARAM_KEY) <octet string>
27           Sets the MAC key.  Setting this parameter is identical to passing a
28           key to EVP_MAC_init(3).

30       "iv" (OSSL_MAC_PARAM_IV) <octet string>
31           Sets the IV of the underlying cipher, when applicable.

33       "cipher" (OSSL_MAC_PARAM_CIPHER) <UTF8 string>
34           Sets the name of the underlying cipher to be used.

36       "properties" (OSSL_MAC_PARAM_PROPERTIES) <UTF8 string>
37           Sets the properties to be queried when trying to fetch the
38           underlying cipher.  This must be given together with the cipher
39           naming parameter to be considered valid.

44       "size" (OSSL_MAC_PARAM_SIZE) <unsigned integer>
45           Gets the MAC size.

47       The "size" parameter can also be retrieved with
48       EVP_MAC_CTX_get_mac_size().  The length of the "size" parameter is
49       equal to that of an unsigned int.
