DESCRIPTION

15       scooter is a screensaver that shows endless journey through space  tun‐
16       nel and stars.

OPTIONS

19       scooter accepts the following options:

21       --window
22               Draw on a newly-created window.  This is the default.

24       --root  Draw on the root window.

26       --window-id number
27               Draw on the specified window.

29       --install
30               Install a private colormap for the window.

32       --visual visual
33               Specify  which  visual  to use.  Legal values are the name of a
34               visual class, or the id number (decimal or hex) of  a  specific
35               visual.

37       --delay milliseconds
38               How  much  of a delay should be introduced between steps of the
39               animation.  Default 10, or about 1/100th second.

41       --cycles cycles
42               How fast/slow the screensaver is. cycles takes  number  of  cy‐
43               cles. The default is 5 cycles.

45       --count count
46               Specifies  how  many doors in a tunnel can be rendered. Minimum
47               is 4. Default is 24.

49       --size size
50               Specifies how many stars outside the tunnel  can  be  rendered.
51               Default is 100.

53       --ncolors colors
54               Specifies  number  of  colors.  A  number  that is less than or
55               equals 2 means monochrome. --mono achieves the same thing.

57       --pair  Start screensaver in pairs (Not recommended)

59       --fps   Display the current frame rate and CPU load.

ENVIRONMENT

62       DISPLAY to get the default host and display number.

65               to get the name of a resource file that  overrides  the  global
66               resources stored in the RESOURCE_MANAGER property.
