DESCRIPTION

13       This module will allow you to launch an application  by  typing  Alt+F2
14       its pressed on the keyboard.

16       The  LXQt modules are desktop independent tools, and operate as daemons
17       for the local user for desktop specific operations.

19       LXQt is an advanced, easy-to-use, and fast desktop environment based on
20       Qt  technologies,  ships  several core desktop components, all of which
21       are optional:

23        * Panel
24        * Desktop
25        * Application launcher (this)
26        * Settings center
27        * Session handler
28        * Polkit handler
29        * Display manager handler

31       These components perform similar actions to those  available  in  other
32       desktop  environments,  and their names are self-descriptive.  They are
33       usually not launched by hand but automatically, when  choosing  a  LXQt
34       session in the Display Manager.

BEHAVIOR

37       As  you type, suggestions will appear. Once you see the application you
38       wish to run you can navigate to it using the mouse  or  arrow  keys  on
39       your  keyboard.  Pressing enter or clicking it will launch the applica‐
40       tion. The activation key can be changed using  the  window  manager  or
41       shortcut daemon such as lxqt-globalkeyshortcuts.

AUTOSTART

44       This  module only shows at LXQt desktop environment, but you can use in
45       others desktops, by setting an configuring into session startup.
