6       cdist-type__postgres_extension - Manage PostgreSQL extensions

DESCRIPTION

9       This cdist type allows you to manage PostgreSQL extensions.

11       The  __object_id  to  pass  to  __postgres_extension is of the form db‐
12       name:extension, e.g.:

16       CAUTION!  Be  careful  when  installing  extensions  from   (untrusted)
17       third-party sources:
18          Installing an extension as superuser requires trusting that the extension's
19          author wrote the extension installation script in a secure fashion. It is
20          not terribly difficult for a malicious user to create trojan-horse objects
21          that will compromise later execution of a carelessly-written extension
22          script, allowing that user to acquire superuser privileges.
